Data Processing Agreement

This Data Processing Agreement explains how SportNest may process personal data for clubs using the platform.

1. Roles of the parties

For club member, player, enquiry, venue hire and payment records, the club may act as data controller and SportNest may act as data processor, unless the parties agree otherwise.

2. Processing instructions

SportNest will process club personal data to provide the platform, hosting, support, email delivery, database, security, payment links, payment reminders, GoCardless integrations, Stripe billing for full websites and related services requested by the club.

3. Types of data

Data may include names, contact details, club roles, player/member profiles, email addresses, match information, enquiry details, payment request and payment status records, overdue reminder records, uploaded images, admin account details and technical logs.

4. Security measures

SportNest will use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including account authentication, access controls and secure third-party providers.

5. Sub-processors

SportNest may use trusted sub-processors for hosting, databases, authentication, email, payments, analytics and support. These providers should process data only as needed to deliver their services.

6. Data deletion and return

When a club leaves SportNest, the club can request reasonable export or deletion of club data, subject to legal, accounting, security and backup retention requirements.
